The calculator uses conversion size measurements standard in the shipping industry. Once the total cubic feet is established, we can use the table below to decide the shipping equipment required for the safe transport of your cargo.

Consolidated Shipment
For shipments totaling 0 to 500 cubic feet OR LESS. Consolidated shipping costs are calculated based on a price per cubic feet.  If the shipment size is over 500 cubic feet, it is more cost effective to choose a 20’ container load. Consolidated shipments are shipped in pallets or wood crates. See more information on consolidated shipment.

Exclusive use of 20’ ocean container
For shipments over 500 cubic feet and up to 985 cubic feet, the most cost effective is to use a 20’feet ocean container. Shipping costs are quoted as guaranteed flat rates for exclusive use of the entire container. If the shipment size is over 986 cubic feet, it is more cost effective to choose a 40’ container load.

For shipments over 986 cubic feet and up to 2,300 cubic feet, rhe most cost effective option is to use a 40’ container. Shipping costs are quoted as guaranteed flat rates for exclusive use of the entire container.
