What is the reservation process?

We will help you calculate the total size of your shipment will help advise if air or ocean transport is the best shipping option for you. We will also advise on whether you will need a a container consolidation (LCL) or a full exclusive container (FCL) We’ll then calculate the total shipping costs and advise on how you can best save on your shipment.

You’ll need to know this information to secure your shipment:

  1. 1. Your origin address including city, state, and country
  2. 2. Your destination city and country
  3. 3. Your shipping size (cubic feet volume, consolidated, full container, etc.)
  4. 4. Know the shipping options available (i.e., door-to-door, door-to-port, etc.)
  5. 5. Select desired packing and loading services or do-it-yourself (LINK).

In order to make a reservation, you will need to pay a deposit so that we can reserve the shipping space and start the pre-shipping process. If you order shipping supplies, we will arrange fro them to be delivered to you for free ahead of time. If you order insurance, we will send you the proper documentation along with your booking information.

Booking in advance is advisable.

Once your booking is secured, an account executive will be assigned to help you with the shipment from start to finish, including organizing the necessary shipping documents and processing the customs regulations paperwork to clear your cargo for shipment overseas.

Once your order has been assigned to an account executive, you will receive an email from that department along with any relevant information with your shipping order progresses.

What happens after I book my shipment?

After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation with information about your order and we will immediately secure the cargo space in our reservation system. We assign the appropriate logistics account executive to your order to handle all the scheduling and shipping documentation required for your order.

 Help CenterDepending on the type of shipping services you selected, our office will send you the appropriate shipping documentation to get familiar with the necessary information for a seamless transaction. The information will include customs regulations, insurance forms, packing tips, and other relevant information.

If you ordered shipping supplies, we will coordinate the delivery of all boxes and supplies your door – delivery is FREE nationwide. If you did not order shipping supplies, we will still deliver to you the FREE supplies kit.

 Help CenterYour logistic account executive coordinating the booking and the day before your pick up date, will call you confirm the shipment date and check to see if you need to make final changes before the shipping starts. You can also call your logistic account executive yourself to confirm the day before your shipping date.

On the shipping date, the crew will arrive to the pick up location and will disassemble basic furniture, carefully pack your belongings, prepare an inventory, and load everything to the container or a truck.* If you select the Do It Yourself option, we will arrange for the transportation of the goods, but you will be responsible for the packing and loading.

Loading to container / truck

If you are shipping a less then container load (LCL) consolidated shipment, the size of the shipment is confirmed for processing by the receiving export terminal. Once you shipment size is confirmed, your invoice will be ready for the balance payment.

When shipping a 20 ft and/or 40 ft container, you can use the entire container and the shipping cost is always guaranteed. We require that you pay the balance immediately after the pick up and/or upon receipt. Once your balance payment has been received, your shipment will be proceed to the next shipping stage.

Your logistic account executive will send you the shipment booking information, along with the vessel name, voyage number, vessel ETA, and container information of the local destination agent for your records.

The agent will follow the progress of your shipment and will have the necessary documents ready. While the shipment is processed at customs, your agent will be ready to answer any questions you may have.

Once your shipment has reached its destination, you will receive an arrival notification from our local destination agent. Your agent will begin the customs release process with you and will coordinate final delivery dates * and help you if you need to make last minutes changes to your delivery arrangements.

If you choose do it yourself option, we will recommend a customs broker to clear the shipment for you.

Once the delivery truck or container arrives at ypu destination address, the local crew will arrive and unload your goods in the new location. The crew will unpack furniture* and all remove all debris.
