The below information is a brief summary of customs regulations when you plan your international shipping to the Central African Republic. Documents Required
Valid Passport 
Inventory in French, detailed, valued, and signed and dated by Customer 
Certificate of Change of Residence 
“Attestation Reservation de cale” 
Mission order of employer 
Declaration signed by customer that goods are for personal use 

CUSTOMS REGULATIONS 

Used household goods are duty-free if they have been in the owner’s possession, used for six months, and are not for resale 

DUTIABLE/RESTRICTED ITEMS 

Home computers are not accepted as personal effects and will be subject to customs duties and import taxes 
New electrical items and furniture are subject to duties and taxes 
Invoices required 
Must be more than six months old 
Tobacco products 
Firearms and weapons are duty-free with a:
F4 Form 
Certificate of Registration 
Valid Passport 
Proof of ownership 
Certificate of temporary admission 

PROHIBITED ITEMS 

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited and should be sent separately. Only the mention “fond de cave” (less than 30 bottles) is acceptable. 
Pornographic material 
Narcotics 
Explosives 

MOTOR VEHICLES 

New cars are dutiable

Proof of ownership 
Original Purchase Invoice 
F4 Form provided by Customs at the time of arrival 

PETS 

Health Certificate and proof of anti-rabies inoculation
