The below information is a brief summary of customs regulations when you plan your international shipping to Cambodia. Always double check with your local embassy or consulate to make sure you have all the information you need before you make your move. Contact the nearest Cambodia Embassy.
When you plan your international shipping to Cambodia, The following documents are required for customs clearance:
- Inventory in English
- Itemized list including values of each item
- Passport (copy)
- Insurance documents (if applicable)
- Letter written on company or agency letterhead requesting duty-free status
When shipping goods overseas to Cambodia, The following items are dutiable and/or restricted:
- Items less than six months old are considered new and are dutiable and taxable
- Avoid packing goods in original boxes as they will be considered new
When shipping goods overseas to Cambodia, The following items are prohibited from entry into the country:
- Firearms, ammunition and weapons are permitted under special circumstances only, and are on a case-by-case basis
- Narcotics
- Pornographic material
When shipping Motor Vehicles overseas to Cambodia, The following documents and regulations will apply:
- New or used cars are dutiable and taxable – left hand drive only
- Documents required:
- Certificate of Registration (showing engine and chassis numbers)
- Proof of ownership
- Commercial invoice of proof of value
Moving Pets to Cambodia: The following documents must be presented for the importation of pets:
- Health and vaccination certificate and issued no less than seven (7) days prior to date of entry
