Documents required

Detailed valued inventory stating quantity and brand mark for electronics, unit value and total value (as low as possible is better)

·                *Assignment letter from employer in Macedonia showing duration of stay;­

·                Bank guaranty equivalent to amount of total calculated customs duties;­ Payment of 3% of total calculated duties per month of stay in Macedonia (minimum 6 months);­Power of attorney to Customs agent (to be done in Skopje)For the returning resident­

2 liters alcohol maximum allowed, over taxes are fully payable­

MOTOR VEHICLES

Customs regulations Private: imported vehicles must be less than 10 years old and in owner’s possession for more than 6 months.Companies/organizations: imported vehicles must be less than 10 years old and in owner’s possession for more than 6 months.All vehicles must be equipped with catalyst system. If not exempted (as for Diplomats) taxes are payable on the same basis as personal effects (3% of total taxes monthly). Bank guaranty is required
